The mudcat flagging jug was developed to show which jug to check when putting out a large amount of jugs, and not having to wait and check them all.
Hello, My name is James Oliver, to many Catfishermen and Jugliners inTexas, I am known as Mudcat. One of my passions is catfishing, more specificly, jugline fishing. For years Jug fishing has been done with bleach bottles and antifreeze bottles. This method was alot of work and not very productive. Several years back I started making a jugline that, what is reffered to these days a a flagging jug It stands straight up when a catfish is caught. These flagging juglines have influenced many fisherman across Texas and are used by many fishing guides.
